Siege weapons

Siege weapons refers to AoK units trained in the Siege Workshop and includes the Trebuchet, trained in the Castle.

Specifically, the siege weapons are:

• The Bombard Cannon unit;
• The Mangonel line units (Mangonel, Onager and Siege Onager);
• The Battering Ram line units (Battering Ram, Capped Ram and Siege Ram};
• The Scorpion line units (Scorpion and Heavy Scorpion) and
• The Trebuchet unit.

Not all of units are really suitable for conducting a siege (breaking down walls, attacking towers and castles) - notably, the scorpion line. However, the term siege weapons is significant for the Monk unit. Monks may convert siege weapons after their civ has researched Redemption.
