Scenario builder

The scenario builder is a tool used to create custom scenarios in Age of Empires. It is the basis of the Age of Empires II map editor, which shares the same basic interface with the addition of several features such as map copy and the trigger system. The scenario builder tab in the game's main menu allows the player to create a new scenario from scratch or edit an existing scenario made by themselves or another scenario designer. Also included is the campaign editor which is a much simpler tool that operates independent of the scenario builder to link scenarios together, forming a campaign.
