Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome Expansion (often simply written 'RoR') is the expansion pack made by Ensemble Studios for Age of Empires released in late 1998. The game introduces new civilizations, units and technologies, as well as many other features. As indicated by the name, it has a strong Roman theme, including a new architecture set with a Roman appearance.
