Review is the process of analyzing and then evaluating a piece of work, whether it be a campaign, program, article, or any other subject which can be assessed. The review itself usually takes the form of a score or scores accompanied by prose, usually a comment or paragraph relating to each score, or a short essay on the work as a whole. A review gives critical feedback aimed at both the author(s) and the downloader, with the intention of helping the author(s) to improve the work in question and to give both parties an idea of its quality. Reviews differ from comments in that they also assign the subject a score (usually on a 1-5 scale). The reviews themselves are often assessed for quality and consistency and may require approval before being accepted. Criteria for acceptence is usually outlined in review guidelines, which provide the rules and regulations for reviewing. A person who frequently reviews is known as a reviewer.

Scoring

A review score is often divided into several subcategories. These will vary depending on the type of work being assessed. Not all genres of design work have a strict method for scoring, so the composition of the score is often left up to the reviewer, and may simply be an overall rating with comments. For a campaign or scenario, reviews are normally based on five criteria:
