Help:Adding images
From GenieWiki
Images are useful additions to an article, allowing the reader to see what is being discussed in the article, and often portraying information that can't be explained with words. The following steps explain how to upload images or other files and how to place an image in an article using wiki markup.
Uploading an image
Uploading an image is fairly simple
1. Find the file by browsing to find it on your computer
2. Give the file a suitable name
3. Categorize the image, if you know what category it should go in
Generally images are the main files that will be uploaded, but if appropriate, sound files may also be uploaded. Remember not to upload images unless they are of use to an article, and try to keep the file size down (e.g. converting screenshots into .jpg form). Generally .jpg and .png images are the best option.

1. Navigate to the page where you would like to add the image, and click "edit".
2. Type [[Image:Image Name Here.jpg|250px]] to add the image by itself, or type [[Image:Image Name Here.jpg|thumb|right|250px|Insert caption here.]] to add a frame and a caption. You can add 'left' or 'right' to align the image, and 'thumb' creates a thumbnail view with a frame. The image size can be modified using e.g. 250px above.
3. Save the change, and ensure that the image does not hinder the reading of the text in any way. Use the 'Show preview' button to see how it looks first
