Farm

Overview
Farms provide a vital source of food in AoE and AoK. Later, when playing a random map or deathmatch players can use their plentiful wood source and convert it into a more valuable resource. In AoE villagers toil on their farms wearing wide brimmed hats where in AoK villagers seed the ground first before ploughing (male villagers) or tending (female) the land. Also farms in AoK mix in with other farms to create a vast space of farmland over the map while in AoE a whole farmhouse is built on the farm. Farms are usually built next to a town center or other food drop-off points to harvest food more quickly. After all the food has been harvested from a farm it will collapse and will have to be rebuilt.
