Clubman

The Clubman is a Stone Age infantry unit. It is the only Stone Age military unit and is created at the Barracks. In the Tool Age it can be upgraded to Axeman.
In game Strategy
Clubmen are used by players mainly for Stone Age rushing or defending against Slingers. While not really all that popular of a unit, they are usually just trained between the Stone-Tool interval to be upgraded to Axemen once in the Tool Age. Sumerian villagers can easily take on clubbers with their bonuses, so it is often un-wise to use clubmen against them.
