AOK:List of tricks

This is a place to list all tricks used in Age of Empires II, and give a brief description of the trick. If it is a very simple trick it may not warrant its own article, however generally tricks will simply be described briefly, and more information can be learned by following the link to the full article on a given trick.

• Pasting a negative sign - Used to add a negative value to quantity boxes in the map editor (for example lowering an object's attack)
• Silent tribute - Tribute a player resources without any sound/message
• Fork principle - Allows for inverse conditions using a workaround (i.e. player does not have attribute)
• Walkable water - Water you can walk on.
